Our Mission

International Safe Shelter Foundation (ISSF) was founded as a tax exempt organization in 2012. We empower Latin American shelters that serve abused women and children in their mission to end domestic violence by linking them with United States based resources.

Our Vision

Shelters will be fully sustainable and linked with US organizations.

Our primary responsibilities to the organizations we support include:

Verifying the legitimacy of the organizations we support to ensure that they are consistent with their mission and accountable in their use of funds. Raising funds for shelters we support through fundraisers, grant applications, website donations, and other opportunities as appropriate. Offering donors tax exempt status for their charitable donations to the organizations we support.
